The Aerial Applicator Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators is now available. The program is provided by the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP).
The course will fulfill 2026 continuing instruction requirements for commercial pesticide applicators certified in category 11. Topics covered in the two hour and 45 minute training include personal protective equipment and safe handling; professionalism, storage of pesticides, including chemical security; and pests, pest management, and pesticides.

Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered at this program. Interested participants should bring their CCA number. Please note that attendance at a CIC does not automatically renew an applicator’s certification with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS).
